Vacuum System

Should give ultra clean dry fast vacuum using air cooled Turbo Molecular Pump. Safety measures for electron column against any vacuum failure. Variable pressure range for chamber must be 2Pa to 600Pa minimum or more.

Stage Specification

5 axis motorized stage with movement facility for X=100mm or more, Y=100mm or more, Z=5-35mm or more, Tilt=0 to 90 0, Rotation=360 0 (continuous) with control panel.

With CPU minimum Intel Pentium IV with latest specification. Microsoft Windows XP/Professional or latest (licensed copy), mouse/keyboard control, facilities for scanning control, image storage, image processing, detector control, morphology, image snapper, particle/grain size analysis softwares.

  • Auto gun control and gun alignment, auto bias and auto saturation of gun condition.
  • Automatic/manual control of other features like focus, brightness and contrast, a stigmatism etc.

SEM system Disk Drives

General Conditions:

  1. A compliance chart of the technical specifications or the quoted SEM-EDXA models with reference to our technical specifications is to be attached for each model quoted.

  2. The technical brochure/literature of the quoted models to be supplied along with the technical bid. Technical advantages of any patented parts/accessories over other conventional devices should be made available, if quoted in the technical bid.

  3. User list of the quoted SEM-EDXA models to be supplied with postal address. Email of the laboratory/contact persons.

  4. Pre-installation requirement are to be clearly mentioned (room size, environmental conditions, UPS specifications, LN2 gas cylinders for purging the specimen chamber, LN2 Dewar, power requirements, sputter coating requirements, etc.

  5. The firm will be required to analyze the supplied GSR samples using the quoted model and GSR software also by a established / Standard SEM-EDXA model and GSR software for comparison and validation of the results.

  6. The firm will be required to supply at least 5000 number of GSR sample kit including 5 pieces each of 1” stub & ½ “stub.

  7. Spares: 5 years spares like O-rings, column maintenance tools and specimen preparation kits, turbo controlled, stage rotary motor, fuse kits, R.P. oil (10 liter), LAB6 filament 2 nos, Tungsten filaments – 100 quantity.

  8. Warranty: 2 years comprehensive warranty from the date of installation is a must.

  9. Training: 3 personnel at installation site/principals factory.

  10. The company must quote 3 years comprehensive and non-comprehensive AMC rate after the warranty period.

  11. The company must quote all items for self-sustaining and trouble free installation and operation of the entire system.

  12. All operation manual, diagrams, CDs, etc must be supplied along with one set of tool box.

  13. The firm must have ISO 9001 / GMP / GLP / CE compliance.

  14. The manufacturer must certify regarding uninterrupted supply of spares and consumables for next ten years from the date of installation.

  15. All the specifications must be supported by leaflet literature and/or manufacturer’s authenticated documents.
