System should have

- The system software shall support the following calibration curve fit modes for Quantitative analysis:
- Linear least squares.

- Linear forced-through-zero least squares.
- Method of standard additions
- Additions calibration
- Real time graphics with ability to display transient and continuous signal profiles.
- Quantitative analysis including external calibration, additions calibrations, method of standard additions, isotope ratios and isotope dilution’s and semi quantitative analysis.
- On-line help with quick steps to reference entire instrument user manual.
- Data reprocessing on stored data without re-running samples for changes of calibration points, internal standard points or curve fit mode.
Software should control plasma, MS and other accessories. |

Firm should quote all essential pre-installation requirements and utility requirement for ICP-MS with suitable ducting, Venting with insulation system, Dehumidifier, wall paneling, false celling with EPS insulation, clean enclosure light fittings, PVC antistatic flooring, double door, static pass box, magnetic guage with blower assembly and other infrastructure for self sustaining including installation and running of the system under the environment of 10,000 class instrument enclosure with all necessary fitting materials. Enclosure size approx 10 x 10 ft for main instrument. Sample preparation enclosure approx 10x10 ft. Only main power supply system outside the enclosure will be provided from the user side |

Manufacturer should certify to provide for a minimum period of 10 years guaranteed supply of spares and adequate servicing of the instrument and facility to upgrade it whenever applicable. |

Installation testing: Suppliers of the instrument must provide free installation, commissioning and testing of the equipment in the laboratory. |

Application: The quoted model should capable of analyzing accurately and precisely of common, rare toxic elements, Gun Shot Residues, trace elemental profiling of metals at ppm, ppb and ppt level in various type of materials related to forensic science including R&D activities. |
