Specifications for Spectral Comparator:
The spectral Comparator should meet the following specifications.
1. Camera: |
- 3-CCD Digital Firewire Camera with 1360x1024 pixels with at least 10X motorized ZOOM lens.
- Supplementary lens providing magnifications of approximately 80X.
- 2X Digital screen ZOOM
- ~4X magnifier
- Auto focus as well as motorized focus

- Visible Low Pass
- Long Pass step filter 530nm -1000nm and tolerance ~ +/- 2nm/ filter
- Interference filter 400-1000nm with step of ~4nm and usable simultaneously with long pass filters

- Laser Illumination- for anti-Stokes inks with interlock protection.

5. Integrated System Software |
- Micro-spectrophotometer- 400-1000nm with at least 3.5 nm incremental steps and with absorption, reflectance, fluorescence, transmittance, tristimulus colour co-ordinate presentation.
- Case work management system- Ability to store and recall parameter settings, IPI module to detect scrambled indica in security documents, OCR module to read and verify ICAO on security documents.
- Update for the system software in due course.
